The Face Of Eva - Step By Step (2009)

Ive gotta say, her face was definitely the most challenging feature of her. Improvising her facial features really gave me a better understanding of how light hits certain areas of the face given its modeling. Gotta really calculate and visualize these things mentally to get what you want if your not working with much reference.

Anyway, just thought Id share some of the process! Enjoy!

Please be my Sensei!! ^_^
There are so many fantastic ppl registered here.
But I want to learn to do pieces like this. Jus like you.
I can sketch with pencil but have no idea what kinda settings to change in CS3 to do it with my cheapo graphics tablet, not to mention reaching such a beautifully finished ending! All your pieces are breath-taking, dude!
I don't get much time to delve into this kinda stuff (3 kids & working from home takes nearly all my time) but I know that once I learn the process I'd be doing it for years to come!

Any tips for getting an amateur started?
