This artwork is inspired by the 2010 Fifa world cup in South Africa. Its been an amazing experience to just be living here!

Well, tonight is a sad night for many South Africans over our defeat by Uruguay. All we can do now is make peace with it and move forward. Life operates in mysterious ways and everything happens for a reason. Hey, everything will be ok no matter what =) ...Bafana we still love you!

Anyway, I hope you guys around the world are all enjoying our version of the world cup! I know I am!

For those here in Johannesburg, SA, myself and Paul Loubser - :iconweaponlogic: will be selling signed prints at the AWX store at the Bright Water Commons in Randburg - Sundays, on the 20th and 27th of June and the 4th and 11th of July 2010. This print will be sold and signed as a set, coupled with [link] for only R90! Up to 20 prints of my other work will also be available for R70 each. Hope to see you there!

• Inks and colours created in Photoshop CS3 by Wacom Intuos 3. Background photo taken by Merle Louw (yes, my photographer mother), further edited by myself.

The one thing about this that I love, that proves you know your figures is the shadow you put for the sartorius(sp?). I think her waist is a little too skinny though.
